Common Questions

How long is a landscape consultation?
Most consultations last about an hour. This gives us plenty of time to walk your property, talk through ideas, and understand your goals.

How much does a consultation cost?
The consultation fee is $100. This fee is refunded if you choose Andy’s Landscape Services to install your project.

How much does a landscape design cost?
Design fees typically range from $150–$500, depending on how detailed and extensive the plan is.

Can you work within my budget?
Absolutely. Our goal is to create a plan that fits your needs and your budget. Many projects are designed in phases so your top priorities can be addressed first, with room to grow and add more over time.

Do you offer a warranty if you install the plants?
Yes! Andy’s Landscape Services offers a one-year warranty on trees, shrubs, and perennials we install.

I don’t want my front yard torn up to work on my backyard. How do you handle that?
Our crew is very mindful of protecting your existing landscape. We take care to protect hardscapes and plantings, and we use plywood and other protective measures when moving materials or equipment through your property.

Do I have to use Andy’s for installation if you design my landscape?
No. You’re welcome to use your design however you choose. Many clients appreciate having Andy’s Landscape Services handle installation because we’re already familiar with the plan and the plants.

Do you design for new homes or existing landscapes?
Both. We work with new construction as well as established landscapes that need updating, refreshing, or reworking.

Will you use plants that are available at Andy’s?
Yes — designs are plant-forward and often feature plants we carry and know perform well in our area. This helps ensure availability, quality, and long-term success.

How far out are installations scheduled?
Scheduling depends on the season and the scope of the project. We’ll give you a realistic timeline once your design and estimates are complete.

Can I do part of the project myself?
Of course. Some clients like to install portions of their landscape over time, while others prefer full installation. We’re happy to create a plan that supports either approach.
